Spring and Summer are my favorite months. So when I had the opportunity to preview a few items from Fitglow Beauty’s Spring collection, I jumped at the chance.
Fitglow Beauty has released a new, darker shade of their Beauty Balm (BB Cream) – an all in-one-moisturizer, skin perfecter, and treatment serum that focuses on evening the skin tone. The BB cream contains antioxidants and peptides that protect the skin from environmental factors, while restoring firmness and elasticity. I have some hyper-pigmentation, so this works perfectly for me under their Vita-Active Foundation.
I really like the fact that the first ingredient in the Foundation is aloe, which hydrates the skin and also aids in skin repair. The Foundation also doubles as a skin treatment designed to improve the overall health of your skin as you wear it. The BB Cream and Vita-Active Foundation are both quite breathable. This is a great option for those desire something light that will still provide good coverage.
I also tried Fitglow’s Lipstick and Good Gloss. Both the Lipstick and Gloss are very moisturizing as they contain ingredients such as organic coconut oil, natural butters, and jojoba. In my opinion, they both glide across your lips similar to the formula of a chapstick – with a little more slip. When choosing a lip product, color payoff is important to me. Considering that these lipsticks are all natural and non-toxic, I was impressed with the the color payoff, as well as how long the lip color lasted throughout the day. The Lipstick and Good Gloss are gluten-free. Right now, my favorite is the Fitglow Lipstick in “Spark.”
