Bonum Vitae Anti-Aging Facial Oil, $65

As I approach my 30’s I am now more conscious than ever about preventing fine lines and wrinkles. Bonum Vitae is a luxury facial oil specially crafted by Andrea, an esthetician better known as the “Skin Alchemist”. (She definitely knows what she is doing.) I have been using this oil for a fews weeks now and I already notice a difference in the texture of my skin, especially around the eye area. A little truly does go a long way. I like to warm up this oil in between my palms before lightly patting this on my face, neck, and décolleté. Although this can be applied both morning and night, this works best for me at night.

The Ingredients:

Prunus Dulcis Oil (Sweet Almond Oil) –  contains B1, B6, B2, A, B and E vitamins. Vitamin E has a firming effect on the epidermis which helps fight off some of the first signs of aging such as crow’s feet, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation and other fine lines.

Cymbopogon Martinii (Almarosa Oil) -this oil moisturizes the skin, while balancing hydration levels and stimulating cell regeneration. It also balances production of sebum, to keep the skin supple. Additionally, it increases the elasticity and which is invaluable for the prevention of scarring, rejuvenation and regeneration of the skin.

Cananga Odonata Oil (Ylang -Ylang)  is extremely effective in maintaining moisture and oil balance of the skin. This is perfect for me because I have combination-oily skin. This oil keeps the skin looking hydrated, smooth and young. It’s also one of my favorites scents.

Daucus Carota Oil (Wild Carrot) can repair a lot of the damages done to your tissues by oxidants and stop them from doing further harm. These antioxidants protect your skin from wrinkles.

Pelargonium Graveolens Oil (Geranium Oil) promotes cell health, encourages the recycling of dead cells and the regeneration of new cells. It is a powerful cicatrisant, so it helps fade scars and other dark marks on the skin.

Lavandula Anguvstifolia Oil (English Lavender) is antiseptic and antifungal. It is used to treat various skin disorders such as acne, wrinkles and other inflammatory conditions. It energizes, restores balance and leaves your skin feeling refreshed.

Boswellia Sacra Oil (Frankincense) helps eliminate sun spots, removes micro wrinkles around the eyes/cheeks and helps to tone and tighten the skin. This oil is also known for its ability to replace old or dying cells with new, healthy ones.

If you are looking for a new way to age gracefully, this facial oil is a MUST. Click To Tweet

Don’t need an anti-aging oil? Bonus Vitae has several different options to meet your skincare needs.

As always, it is best to test new products on a hidden area of your skin. This will help you determine if you are allergic to any of these ingredients before applying them to your face. I like to test my products on the inside of my wrist.

*Daucus Carota should not be used by those who are pregnant.

Bonum Vitae is definitely a luxury product as it contains therapeutic grade essential oils. So, the price point is a little higher than products that I normally review. Want to give Bonum Vitae a try? Get free shipping here.
