4C Hair is known to be the dryest and most sensitive of all the hair types. In the past, I’ve had a lot of trouble finding a shampoo with clean ingredients, and that didn’t cause breakage. So, I decided to make my own.
Here’s What You Need:
1. Dr. Bronner’s Liquid Castile Soap (My favorite scent is Rose, but you can use any fragrance of your choice.) – 2/3 cup
2. BPA-free can of Organic Non-GMO Coconut Milk (I’m using @natural.value – 1/2 cup
3. Vegetable Glycerin (I’m using Heritage Store brand) – 1 tablespoon
4. Optional: Peppermint Essential Oil (I’m using Whole Foods 365 brand) – 2 to 3 drops
5. Optional: Blender
