VDAY-Gift-Guide.jpg

There are so many Valentine’s Day gift guides floating around, but I have yet to see a guide to show you how to get ready for Valentine’s Day using non-toxic and eco-friendly products. I’ve put together a few mindful ways you can celebrate without compromising your health. Let me know what you’re loving.

AJA Naturals Almond Cream Sugar Scrub  First things first, you’ve got to exfoliate to get those elbows, knees and heels in check! One of my favorite body scrubs is AJA Naturals’ Almond Cream Sugar Scrub. This scrub contains a blend of almond oil, ground almonds and cane sugar that will leave your skin feeling soft and hydrated. Discount code: CHELSEA10

Luv Mineral Cosmetics Lipstick in “Spice It Up”   I love a good red lip. Luv Mineral Cosmetic’s “Spice It Up” is one of my favorites by far. This lipstick has just a tiny hint of orange, which really makes the red really pop on darker skin tones. It also contains ingredients like jojoba oil, coconut oil and castor oil to keep the lips soft and nourished.

Wabi-Sabi Botanicals SAMANA Sunstone Shimmer Elixir   During these cold, winter months, the skin can quickly start to look dry and dull. Give your skin a little extra glow without all of the parabens, petrolatum and thickening agents with this moisturizing, shimmer elixir. I love the fact this oil contains Hawaiian Kukui Nut Oil, which is know to balance oily and blemish-prone skin. I’ve even used this in my hair before big events for some extra sheen.

Zuzu Luxe Liquid Eyeliner in “Raven”  A black winged liner is a must for me on any date night. This guy holds it down every single time. This formula is waterproof to ensure that you won’t experience any smearing or running.

Lily Lolo Mascara  I love the look of false eyelashes, but my sensitive eyes just can’t handle them. This gluten-free mascara gives you all the length and volume without the hassle and irritation of lash glue.

Tsi-La Organics Natural Perfume in “Fleur Savage”  Who doesn’t want to wear their favorite fragrance on Valentine’s Day? I know I do. Unlike most conventional perfumes, this non-endocrine disrupting organic living flower fragrance is made from plant essences, raw organic oils and doesn’t contain any synthetic chemicals. The notes of tuberose, jasmine, neroli and sandalwood will have you smelling like you just stepped off of a tropical island.

Righteously Raw Cacao Bars  This holiday is known for chocolate and these raw cacao truffles will allow you the flexibility to indulge without all of the processed sugar. These organic, antioxidant-rich bars are soy-free, gluten-free, dairy-free and provide a great source of magnesium and iron. My personal favorite is the “Rose Maqui”.

Now Foods Ultrasonic Oil Diffuser  Set the mood with an essential oil diffuser. I like this brand because it is pretty cost effective, BPA free, has a rotating LED light, and automatically shuts off after 4 – 6 hours. It’s also heat-free, which helps to maintain the integrity and healing properties of the essential oils. Some of my favorite romantic scents are rose, rosewood, ylang ylang, neroli, jasmine, geranium and clary sage.

Happy Valentine’s Day!
