Goji berries have been praised in the health and beauty communities for years for their powerful antioxidant properties. You’ve probably added them to the top of an acai bowl or tossed them into your coconut yogurt. These little berries should be highly regarded for more than just fighting free radical damage. This iron-rich superfood helps cleanse the blood, improves fertility and eyesight. Some even argue that these berries can actually restore the natural color of the hair. Goji berries also contain all 8 essential amino acids and are one of the most protein packed fruits around, making them perfect for a post-workout drink.
Toss your goji berries in a glass jar or container with a lid. My favorite is the Navitas Naturals brand. Pour just enough filtered water over the berries to cover. Let these soak overnight.
Soaking the goji berries overnight ensures that we get all of the nutrients out of each berry, makes them easier to digest and easier to blend. You’ll know when they’re ready to go once they start to get nice and plump.

When you’re ready to blend, pour both the goji berries and “goji water” into your high-speed blender. Add 8 oz of almond milk or nut milk of your choice. Blend, strain and enjoy! Have you ever tried goji milk? Let me know in the comment section below.
