Hi! I’m Chelsea, a plant-based wellness blogger based in Washington, DC. For most of my life, I have struggled with Graves Disease, and more recently hypothyroidism. Since transitioning to a plant-based lifestyle in 2012, I have been able to successfully manage my condition. I started this blog in an effort to help teach others how they can live a healthier lifestyle, as well as become more knowledgeable, health-conscious consumers. My content ranges from quick health tips to eco and green beauty reviews, to plant-based recipes.
When I’m not blogging here on ThatsChelsea.com, I lead Live Sacred DC, a series of mindful wellness experiences for women in the District. Additionally, I’m a lifestyle and media correspondent that appears regularly on WJLA-TV (ABC) Good Morning Washington and TV One’s NewsOne Now with Roland Martin to cover health and wellness related topics.
I possess a Master of Public Health Nutrition (MPH), and I am a Certified Communicator in Public Health (CCPH). I’m also currently studying to become a board-certified Integrative Health Coach at Duke University School of Medicine.
