If you live in the DC area or plan on traveling to the DC area on June 22, 2017, I’d love for you to join me as I host the next Sweetgreen Sweetlife Series: Consciously Clean. Sweetgreen is a destination for simple, seasonal, healthy food. They believe that the choices we make about what we eat, where it comes from and how it’s prepared have a direct and powerful impact on the health of individuals, communities and the environment. They’re building a transparent supply network, which is why they cook from scratch, and why they are a building a community of people who support real food.
This event will start at 6:30 p.m. at Up Top Acres‘ Farm at 55 M Street SE. Up Top Acres is reimagining what a farm looks like. They grow food on roofs in the city by converting underutilized spaces into productive farmland and environmental safeguards. They create spaces for communities to interact and learn about food, in order to establish agriculture as a fixture of city life.I'm attending the DC @sweetgreen Sweetlife Series: Consciously Clean hosted by @HiThatsChelsea at @UpTopAcres Click To Tweet
During this event, you will learn more about the healing power of real food and how to live a cleaner lifestyle. You will have the opportunity to plant your own organic Up Top Acres herbs, enjoy one of my consciously curated dinner bowls and sip on a summer cocktail (or mocktail) all while enjoying the sunset over the DC skyline. Tickets are limited. I hope to meet you there!
