My first Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is officially in the books! January 7-10, 2019, over 4,500 exhibiting companies, including manufacturers, developers and suppliers of consumer technology hardware, content, and technology delivery systems gathered together in Last Vegas, Nevada to talk all things tech! There were more than 180,000 attendees from 150 countries!
Some of you may know that I serve as 1 of 6 Board of Advisors for The Well, a social brand by Samsung Mobile USA and POPSUGAR Fitness that focuses on wellness content and experiential events throughout 2019 and beyond. Millennial women rely on technology to direct their path to wellness. As a result, “life logging” has become an extremely important way for this audience to gain knowledge about themselves.
Additionally, the millennial approach to wellness is different than that of previous generations. It reaches far beyond fitness to include holistic health, sleep quality, prevention, and, importantly, self-care. There is no one-size-fits-all prescription to feeling or looking great, and The Well celebrates this emphasis on inclusivity.
During CES 2019, I spoke on a wellness panel in the Samsung Connect Lounge alongside my fellow Board of Advisors and Jeannie Mai, to share with attendees various ways the Samsung Galaxy Watch and Samsung Galaxy Note9 can assist them with meeting their individual wellness goals.
This event included a mixer, interactive stations, dream interpretations, mini medicine readings and a nutrition station! Watch my #CES2019 Instagram highlights on my Instagram page, or check out a photo recap of the photo recap of the panel below.
